About BEUC, The European Consumer Organisation

In 1962, BEUC was a small organisation with six founding members. A pioneer in the history of European lobbying, BEUC was one of the first organisations to set up base in Brussels in order to influence EU decision-making. 50 years later our organisation represents 42 members from 31 European countries. However our mission is unchanged: to give a voice to consumers in the heart of Europe.

» Who is BEUC?

BEUC focusses on 8 policy areas. These range from consumer rights in the digital environment, to the safety of products and access to justice for example. You can find more information on our 8 headlines here.
